Snap Challenge

The MARACA Scratch Card Campaign ("MARACA's Snap Challenge ") is organised by Maraca Fruit Processing Company ("Organizer") and will run from February 15, 2025, to May 15, 2025. The Campaign is designed to reward participants who purchase MARACA products and follow the participation steps

By participating in the Campaign, you agree to abide by the terms and conditions.

How to participate?

  1. Purchase any MARACA bottle with the promotional scratch card label during the campaign period.
  2. Scratch the card to reveal a unique alphanumeric code.
  3. Take a photo of the bottle clearly showing the MARACA branding.
  4. Post the photo on Instagram and tag the official MARACA Instagram account ( @maracafruit ).
  5. Send the unique code via text message to the official MARACA Instagram account ( @maracafruit ). Ensure to include your name in the text message.
  6. Alphanumeric code is used for authenticity verification.

Who are eligible?

  1. The Campaign is open to all residents of Kerala only.
  2. Employees of MARACA, its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.
  3. Campaign period is February 15, 2025, to May 15, 2025, but the entries made till May 17th will be considered valid.
  4. Participants must comply with all local laws and regulations regarding promotional contests.
  5. This campaign applies to those who buy only the squashes of MARACA in the said time period.
  6. This campaign is only applicable to products purchased through offline retail stores. Purchases made through online platforms such as Amazon, Flipkart, or any other e-commerce websites will not be considered for participation.

How can I claim my prize?

  1. Winners are required to present the original MARACA bottle along with the scratch card containing the winning unique code as proof of purchase.
  2. The scratch card must be untampered and legible for verification.
  3. Failure to provide proof of purchase will result in disqualification and forfeiture of the prize.

What are the prizes?

  1. Prizes include electronic items such as seven Headsets, ten Smartwatches and five Android Tablets.
  2. The Organizer reserves the right to determine the specific models to be awarded.
  3. Prizes are non-transferable and cannot be exchanged for cash or other alternatives.

How are winners selected?

  1. Winners will be randomly selected from the pool of eligible participants who have completed all steps correctly.
  2. The official announcement of winners will be made on May 25, 2025, through Maraca’s social media accounts.
  3. A total of 22 unique winners will be selected, ensuring that each winner receives only one prize. The distribution is as follows:
    1. 7 different winners will receive one headset each.
    2. 10 different winners will receive one smartwatch each.
    3. ⁠5 different winners will receive one Android tablet each.
  4. No participant can win more than one prize. If a participant is selected more than once, only their first selection will be considered, and a new winner will be chosen for the other prize.
  5. Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message or through the contact information provided during participation.
  6. Winners must respond within 7 days of notification to claim their prize. Failure to respond within the specified time will result in forfeiture of the prize, and an alternate winner may be selected.

Participation Terms

  1. Each scratch card contains a unique code that can only be used once. Duplicate, fraudulent, or tampered codes will be deemed invalid.
  2. Only one entry per unique code is allowed.
  3. MARACA reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not meet the participation criteria or violate the terms and conditions.
  4. The selection process is not a lottery, raffle, or gambling activity but a promotional giveaway.

Privacy Policy

  1. By participating in the Campaign, entrants consent to the collection and use of their personal information, including name, phone number, and Instagram handle, by MARACA for the purpose of administering the Campaign.
  2. Personal information will not be shared with third parties except as necessary to facilitate prize delivery.
  3. Participants have the right to request the deletion of their personal data after the Campaign ends by contacting MARACA.
  4. By participating, entrants explicitly agree to allow MARACA to collect and process their personal data in accordance with applicable data protection laws.

General Conditions

  1. MARACA reserves the right to amend, modify, or terminate the Campaign at any time without prior notice.
  2. All decisions made by MARACA regarding the Campaign are final and binding.
  3. The Campaign is subject to all applicable laws and regulations.
  4. Any disputes arising from or in connection with the Campaign shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Muvattupuzha, Kerala, India.
  5. The campaign is not a lottery, gambling, or prize scheme under Kerala laws but a brand engagement initiative.
  6. This campaign does not involve any form of gambling, wagering, or paid lottery.
  7. Participants receive a product of value for their purchase, and any prizes awarded are purely an additional promotional benefit.
  8. No additional purchase is required to participate, ensuring compliance with applicable laws.

Limitations of Liability

  1. MARACA shall not be held liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation in the Campaign or acceptance and use of prizes.
  2. MARACA is not responsible for technical errors, including but not limited to errors in data transmission, server issues, or Instagram malfunctions, that may affect participation.

Use of promotional content

  1. By tagging MARACA on Instagram, participants agree that their photos, captions, and any related content may be used by MARACA for promotional purposes, including but not limited to social media posts, advertisements, and website content.
  2. MARACA reserves the right to retag, repost, or share participant content on its official social media platforms and website without additional compensation to the participants.
  3. Participants also confirm that the content shared does not violate any third-party intellectual property or privacy rights.

Taxes and additional costs

  1. Any applicable taxes, duties, or other charges associated with claiming the prize are the sole responsibility of the winners.
  2. MARACA will not cover any additional costs incurred by the winners for claiming or using the prizes.
